Marcus specializes in his old stomping grounds Downtown and West Austin, as well as, vacation homes on the Texas Coast and ranch properties. A native Austinite, this hometown boy was born, raised and currently lives in West Austin. His clients benefit from his personal and professional experiences that culminate in a deep understanding of the history, culture and market trends in these areas. Marcus has been likened to a “boy scout with a cigar,” because his style blends high level service, integrity and results based consultancy with his out-going personality and commitment to having fun. 

Marcus is Co-Owner of Avalar Austin and Shoreline Real Estate, a founding member of the Avalar Ultra and sits on the Austin Board of Realtors® Board of Directors.  He also sits on the Austin area Boy Scouts Board of Directors, is an advocate for The Center for Child Protection and is a member of their Guardian Angel Society.
