Leander is located just 5 miles north of Austin on US Hwy 183. It sits at the edge of the Texas Hill Country
and is rapidly growing. Shopping, parks,
golf, restaurants, nearby festivals, are a great attraction for families young
and old. Leander is part of the TOD (Trans Oriented Development) and is the starting
place for the Capital Metro commuter rail which will travel with several
stops before ending up in downtown Austin.

There are 21 elementary campuses from pre-kindergarten
